This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use baaqat.ae, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable laws.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

- Your name, email address, phone number and billing address
- The recipient's name, delivery address, phone number and gift message, when you send flowers to someone else
- Order details and delivery instructions
- Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or our contact form
- Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or claim a discount code

Information collected automatically:
- Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and the time and date of your visit
- Cookies and similar technologies (see section 5)

Payment information: Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store your full card number or security code.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

- Process, prepare and deliver your orders, and contact you or the recipient about delivery
- Send order confirmations and updates
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support

3. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

4. RECIPIENT INFORMATION

When you order a gift, you confirm that you are allowed to give us the recipient's details. We use these only to deliver the order and will not use them to send marketing to the recipient.

6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We then delete or anonymise it.
