Here are some essential care tips to keep your fresh flower bouquet looking vibrant and lasting longer:
1. Trim the Stems
- Cut about 1-2 inches from the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle using sharp scissors or pruning shears. This allows the flowers to absorb water more effectively and prevents air bubbles from forming in the stems.
2. Remove Excess Foliage
- Remove any leaves that will be submerged in water to prevent rot and bacterial growth. This keeps the water cleaner and prolongs the life of the bouquet.
3. Use Clean Water
- Fill a clean vase with lukewarm water, which helps flowers absorb it better. If the bouquet came with flower food, dissolve it in the water according to the instructions to provide extra nourishment.
4. Change the Water Regularly
- Change the water every 1-2 days to keep it fresh and free from bacteria. Be sure to clean the vase with soap and water each time you change the water.
5. Keep Flowers in a Cool Location
- Place the bouquet in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts. Extreme temperatures can cause flowers to wilt faster.
6. Avoid Ethylene-Producing Fruits
- Keep the bouquet away from fruits, vegetables, and other ethylene-producing items, as this gas can shorten the flowers’ lifespan.
7. Spray the Petals
- Lightly mist the petals with water to keep them hydrated, especially in dry conditions. Be gentle to avoid damaging delicate petals.
8. Remove Wilting Flowers

If the delivery is day-to-day, then the bouquet will be delivered in 1-2 hours from the moment of approval.
